Vunetrix increases performance, stability, and UX and delivers a brand-new rogue device alert with the latest version of Vunetrix Network Monitor.

For Immediate Release: On the heels of the Vunetrix Network Monitor V18 release, Vunetrix offers their latest version V19 today.

Seattle WA – May 7, 2019 – Vunetrix, Inc, North America’s leading provider of physical security equipment monitoring solutions, today announced the V19 release of their software. Within just a few months of the Vunetrix V18 release, Vunetrix releases V19 today. The latest version ships with it significant performance and stability improvements as well as an updated UX and brand new rogue device alert.

Todd Pettinger, Director of Technology, shared this, “We are constantly collaborating with our integration partners and their customers to provide the most relevant real-time data about their security environments. Every day our dev team is working on restful API integrations with all of the major manufacturers including cameras, VMSs, VOIP, power, access control, environmental controls, and more. We strive to pull key data points into our single-view dashboard and provide real-time, detailed alerts so that our customers can keep a pulse on the health and performance of their entire security environment through a single-pane-of-glass. With all of the work on API integrations, it’s vital for us to constantly improve the performance and stability of our platform which is why V19 was released so soon after V18.”

In addition to all of the performance and stability improvements, Vunetrix added a ‘Rogue Device Alert’ to the platform. Vunetrix Network Monitor can now detect when a device that has not been added to monitoring shows up on the security network. Security operations folks will receive an alert with the location of the device. If it is supposed to be there, they can simply add it to the monitoring list. If it is rogue and potentially nefarious, it can be immediately denied access to the network. Vunetrix President, Vince Ornato, says, “With all of the advancements in cyber threats, it has become increasingly important to our integration partners and their customers that our solution align with cybersecurity hygiene best practices. While Vunetrix is not a cybersecurity tool per say, having our software in place is an essential cybersecurity hygiene best practice and the precursor to optimal cybersecurity best practices.”

Lastly, this release brings with it an even better look and feel as they continue to enhance the style and user experience of the SMART dashboard.
