Vunetrix Increases Security, Performance, and Improves UI including a Fresher Look and Smart Screen Responsiveness with Latest Version of the Vunetrix Network Monitor.

Seattle WA – March 1, 2019 – Vunetrix, Inc, North America’s leading provider of physical security monitoring solutions, today announced the availability of Vunetrix V18 Network Monitor. Based on the V18 Release, Vunetrix Network Monitor drives new features that increase performance and security and improve user experience.

“With the release of V18, Vunetrix introduces a fresher look to our SMART dashboard, offering a more responsive interface which is easier to use on small screens and Smart devices. This new look and feel also comes with a dark background option. This is especially important for security operations folks working inside a Security Operations Center. Dark screens are known to reduce eye fatigue and are simply more suitable for use in dimly-lit rooms.” Todd Pettinger, Director of Technology

In addition to the updated UI, V18 introduces a new custom sensor type, REST. The REST sensor allows easier integration with RESTful API’s allowing a plug into supported 3rd party products. It’s a powerful tool that goes far beyond standard monitoring. With RESTful API, we are able to glean information from manufacturer partners without having to use WMI protocol. It’s highly efficient and web-based, HTTP(s).

“Access to additional data points such as recording status from supported VMSs give our clients extraordinarily relevant information. This can include whether or not the camera is recording to the VMS as well as common device vulnerabilities. Since our clients top two priorities are missing video evidence and cyber security hygiene, V18 delivers even better ways to assure IP equipment reliability, performance, and security.” Vince Ornato, President
